FEATURES

From concept to prototype to hands on, the FRAG development was over 3 years in the making. CNC machining is easy ... Injection moulding, now that's a work of art!

The FRAG-C Grenade is a new generation of the original impact design using the same high quality 304 grade stainless steel internal parts which makes the inertia so reliable and robust! Only the housing and safety system has changed, rather than the 'twist to arm' feature the FRAG C now uses an even faster 'Push 2 Arm' with a slider function that allows the user to know whether the device is live or safe just by the slightest touch!

CAD DRAWING

Manufacturing is all done in the UK from metal tool making to moulding and machining 100% of the components of the final product. Created by our research & development team, the CAD construction drawings were designed, tested and approved in order to build the necessary tools for the production process. This process includes CNC milling and turning, winding of springs as well as polymer injection moulding.

Plastic injection moulding provides greater flexibility in design, allowing improvements in form, fit, and function.

Plastic injection moulded frames and components are much lighter, making them more desirable for carrying and also safer for deployment.

Plastic injection moulding offers a wider range of colours including translucent & clear plastic compared to metal anodising. 

Durability

Data has demonstrated that polymer based components are just as durable as CNC metal.

Corrosion resistance

Unlike polymers, steel components can rust if left in high moisture or humidity.

Made with high-quality materials, including advanced polymer components that are more cost-effective than traditional steel.
